Source. 73,300 Australian products were extracted; those without a usable energy value are excluded. ODbL is share-alike: a derived database must also be offered under ODbL.

Processing

  • Energy is stored as published kilojoules; calories are derived at 4.184 kJ/Cal.
  • Products are excluded when energy is missing, or outside 0โ€“4,000 kJ per 100 g โ€” that range catches entries where calories were typed into the kilojoule field.
  • Products are deduplicated by barcode, keeping the most complete record.
  • Recipe nutrition is summed from ingredient weights and divided across cooked weight.
